5 of What???

This week's challenge on the photography challenge blog was to have FIVE of (something, anything). Well, LUCKY me, I got the five prettiest girls in Aurora, Colorado all into one photo together! WAHOOO!!!!!!



Still having fun with last week's framing challenge, here is Mason Framed by a fish toy!

Today, was BIRTHDAY!

Because Ashli and Mason were born exactly 7 days apart (by two years), we hold the annual 'Mosbarger Birthday Bash' to celebrate their birthdays together on the same day. Today, was that day! I'm flat exhausted and do not even have the energy to clean up this tornado ridden house, but.. I CAN sit here and post a few pictures. Keep in mind these photos are COMPLETELY unedited. I just don't have the energy for THAT right now! Between Karin and I, we took almost 400 pictures of this party! And.... not ONE photo of the cake!


Mason had an absolute BLAST sliding into the swimming pool! I cherish smiles like this!

Framed?

The photography challenge this week was to 'frame your subject' see below post. I got this awesome shot today, and am thinking.. that eye is perfectly framed by the horn on this Big Horn Sheep (aptly named).

"Frame It"

For the Photography Challenge Blog this week, we were supposed to try to "frame" our subjects. This one is really a challenge for me as I always tend to get really close up to my subjects! This is one style I really needed to try and I really REALLY like the results! Thanks Wen and H!

This is Matani, framed out by my kids' slide



While this is not a good photograph, I chose to include it because I not only framed out my 'subject' Ashli, but I also managed to frame out my dogs~ The results were pretty cool!

This one was my very first photo of the day, I was scouring my yard for a 'frame' LOL~

I'm not sure if this one counts as framing a subject - The Rock. But it looks REALLY COOL!

Try as I may, I just don't have the bugs that Wen has! I was stalking a bumble bee for a while, but he got a little irritated and chased me into the house. When I came back out I somehow found this little guy in the grass and took this photo. Man, bugs are HARD!

I really like this one of Matani, that I framed by looking through my Blue Spruce tree at him stretching out in the lawn. Very cool!

One Summer Day...

THIS IS MY DOG...

This is my dog on crack...

So... I bought the kids a little blow up swimming pool, complete with slides. I filled it up with water, and before I could even get their swimsuits on.. Matani had claimed it as his own. He thrashed around that little blow up pool like nothing I have ever SEEN before! The dog... was CRAZY. I mean.. NUTS. He was FREAKIN' NUTS I TELL YOU! Well, after about an hour, Matani, exhausted from his 'swim' fell out of the pool and went to sleep allowing my kids to finally play in "their" pool. We decided after repairing TWO holes in the kids' pool, that Matani needed his OWN pool. The above photos are the results. I guess he likes his new toy?

Bubby Toes!

This photo is for a photography blog I am involved in. This week's challenge was to take a photo that incorporated FEET. So, here is my little man's baby toes! I LOVE these feet!!!

Okay, so I've been playing a LITTLE with the camera...

I've just been REALLY lazy in getting them downloaded and edited! *shaking head* I really need to get back to taking photos! I'd forgotten how much I LOVE IT! Anyway, here are some photos I took of Ashli and Dobbie a few weeks ago, when Dobbs was staying with us for the weekend. Man that girl LOVES that bird! And I love her happy smiley face when she's lovin' on him! WIN WIN for everyone!

I took a few shots today, and Ashli took a few shots too! I wanted to do a full on photo shoot, but my backdrops are still packed! Grrrrrrrr One of these days... Anyway, here some shots from today. A few came out really over-exposed but I liked the effect!

Maybe when the cloudy - overcast skies clear up, I can find my backdrops and get back to the business of taking PICTURES!
