This was the first Christmas that Mason was able to 'help' decorate (and subsequently UN-decorate) our Christmas tree. After I spent some good 'quality' time untangling the lights, Mason promptly jumped right into them and tied them all back up again!Lucky for me, I had my camera and tripod standing close by and I was able to work on my LOW light / fast child photography. That's a tricky little buggar!

What beautiful photos. I do have a question...how do you get a little one to sit still long enough to take such amazing shots?
Oh he is sooooo sweet!! That middle photo is amazing! The first one... gosh that could be Trevor looking at me, he has that same look. And I love how he curls his toes... again reminds me of another little bubba that I know of.
OH K....brilliant! I too love that hand shot. Great work with the camera...you and Wen inspire me no end. Gosh Mason has grown....quite the little man.
I love the pictures the light is just right and he looks so innocent but guilty at the same time
Look at that sweet little face!! I could just eat him up!

Krissy, you are getting so darn good with that Rebel!! These are excellent! Composition, lighting, sharpness all perfect!
These are fabulous! This is why I joined this group...to learn how to take pictures like this! By the way, my youngest son is a Mason also! :)

LOL...I have to make do...Your braver than I am...I am still debating on whether or not to put the tree up!! LOL...I need to mix up some drinks or fill the fridge with beer before I attempt it, if I even try!!
So tell me what settings you used for low light child, LOL...Please!! My carousel photos sucked this weekend...I need time to just sit and play!! Wish you were here to help me, sigh!! Thank you for sharing and don't forget to email me and tell me your camera settings, LOL....Have a good week!! HUGS ~Wen~
Wow you are a pro!
ohhh, cute!!! I cannot believe how big he is getting! I'd love to know your settings on these... they look awesome!! Congrats on getting "the" light shots! :)
Love that 2nd photo! Amazing!!
Did you use a tripod here? The lighting and composition are awesome.. it looks like you have a tiny little bit of motion blur. I did these a few years ago with my daughter and found that cutting out the camera shake with my tripod helped eliminte most of it.
Great shots.
Awesome work! I love the close up of his hand with the lights. GREAT composition! Love the lighting effect!
Absolutely adorable and incredibly beautiful all at the same time! Beautifully done!
All of these pictures are amazing, but the one of just the hand is EXCEPTIONAL!!!! That one looks like a photo for an ad!!! Beautiful tree/ornament pictures too!! I tried hard to get some shots like that, but as you have seen, my tree has been violated by three little girls. It's just not pretty anymore.
Just beautiful!!! You are such a pro with your camera now!! Keep up the great work!!!
I love the lighting on these photos!! the one with him holding the lights is just the CUTEST! - great shots!
That middle photo is just fabulous
